The Physics of Tool Preservation
In high-speed milling (Imes 650i), microscopic segregation (hard spots) in generic titanium creates frequency spikes that damage spindle bearings. ValidTi™ utilizes Triple-VAR melting to ensure zero-segregation homogeneity, effectively dampening harmonic resonance during high-torque roughing phases.
Coritec Parameter Baseline
REF: ASTM F136 / ISO 5832-3| Property | ValidTi Specification | Impact on Coritec Spindle |
|---|---|---|
| Tensile Strength | 860 - 960 MPa | Predictable resistance for roughing strategies |
| Elongation | > 12% | Reduces risk of sudden fracture during deep cuts |
| Iron (Fe) Content | < 0.12% | Lowers chemical reactivity with coated tools |
